पाकिस्तान हिंदू काउंसिल के संरक्षक इन चीफ डॉ रमेश कुमार वांकवानी ने बताया कि राष्ट्रपति ने सभी हिंदुओं से बड़े सार्वजनिक समारोह न करने और सादगी से होली मनाने की अपील की है। उन्होंने कहा कि मौजूदा परिस्थितियों में राष्ट्रीय सुरक्षा और नागरिकों की सुरक्षा सभी की जिम्मेदारी है।
डॉ वांकवानी ने पाकिस्तान हिंदू काउंसिल को निर्देश दिए हैं कि वे पूरे देश में होली के कार्यक्रमों की तैयारी की समीक्षा करें, बड़े आयोजनों से बचें और स्थानीय अधिकारियों का पूर्ण सहयोग करें।
